The shamanic belief is that this part of our vital essence separates from us in order to survive the experience by escaping the full impact of the pain. Or we return from having major surgery and do not feel as if we have come fully out of the anaesthesia. Shamanism and past life healing and transpersonal therapy provides not only diagnosis and description of these widespread problems, but also acts as powerful intervention and treatment..
