When you don’t feel well physically, there can be several reasons for feeling ill. One of them could be your spiritual life. If you’ve lost track of who you are and what you’re here for – or if you never really knew those things in the first place – it may be time to add the discovery of that to your DIYHealth plan.
Your Mind and Body are Linked
People’s minds and bodies are linked in ways that science is only just beginning to understand. Because of that, people who feel well spiritually often feel better physically, too. Having good spiritual health won’t guarantee you’ll be “healed,” but you’ll generally look at the world and your illness far differently – and with much more peace.
Thinking Yourself Well
In some cases, people really have been able to “think themselves well” to a certain extent. This is rare, but it does happen and doctors can’t explain it. There’s no harm in adding “thinking good thoughts” to your DIY Health plan. It may help protect you from sickness or help lessen a problem you already have.
Being spiritual doesn’t have to mean religious. Keep in mind we are all spiritual, even if we don’t subscribe to any particular religion. Find what works for you.
